SignalGlow is a one-person maker workshop based in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland. Every product is designed in Fusion 360, 3D printed in-house, hand-wired with LEDs, tested, and shipped from our workshop.
What started as a passion for aviation and railway nostalgia has grown into a collection of over 60 illuminated designs — from retro airline tail fins to customisable British Rail station signs, and now smart connected displays.
The maker
I’m Matthew. I design, print, wire, and ship every order myself. I’ve been making illuminated signs since 2024 and have shipped over 1,200 units to customers across the UK and beyond.
When I’m not in the workshop, I’m usually tinkering with ESP32 firmware, designing enclosures in Fusion 360, or watching trains.
What drives us
Every product starts with a simple question: would I want this on my wall? If the answer is yes, I build it. The goal is always to create something that looks great, feels solid, and makes someone smile when they plug it in.
